UAV (Drone) Services
The last few years has seen major changes in technology and this includes the use of UAV (drones) to assist in general, daily operations of services. But this isn’t something that just any company is allowed to add to their daily operations.
This is where we can supply the service to our clients as a supplementary service to our portfolio. The use of a DJI Mavic Mini 2 allows us to operate where bigger drones can’t or aren’t preferred to operate. Our RPAS (drone system) pilot are commercially certified and operating under the CAA regulations and the RPAS (drone system) is strictly managed by and under Cortac Aviation. (www.Cortac.co.za)
With the Mavic OcuSync video transmissions system used on this drone, mitigates the risk of interference when the system is being used in and around buildings and areas with electrical cabling, high frequency drives and sensor telemetry systems. The small size of this drone also allows the safer operation inside buildings and in operational areas due to the reduced blade sizes, weight (less than 249g) and blades that are able to fold away if contact with an obstacle is made. This drone type isn’t fitted with optical avoidance sensor system (like other drone systems) this fetcher will allow the system to get closer to objects being inspected while using high quality video system. The DJI Mavic Mini 2 also allows for quitter operation that will reduce disturbance of staff and neighbors.
